Joyce has been a licensed California REALTOR® since 2000. Joyce earned her “Brokers” status in March 2007 and came to real estate from owning her own travel company, where she promoted airline charters, cruise ships, tours, and the many general facets of the travel industry.
Almost by accident, Joyce found Lake Almanor after being pushed out of Mendocino’s Little River Airport by fog in September of 1999. Such was her delight with the area and the lake that she purchased a lakefront lot on Goose Bay in Lake Almanor West. During that first visit, she started making plans to fulfill a dream of relocating to “a room with a view” overlooking Mt. Lassen and the Lake. Groundbreaking and construction of her home began in mid-2000 and was completed in August 2002, just in time for the celebration of her daughter’s wedding on the front lawn. In June 2006, her dream of full-time residence and Realtors® at Lake Almanor became a reality.
