Westwood is the original home of the Red River Logging Company. This community still features most of the original company houses of that logging legacy and located closely is Clear Creek, a unique community that is surrounded by lovely creeks, streams, ponds, and springs. The soothing sound of water is sure to engage anyone. Westwood and Clear Creek are both conveniently located about 30 minutes from Susanville and 15 minutes from Chester and beautiful Lake Almanor.
